Is a power ratchet worth it if I already have a manual set?

If you do a lot of repetitive work, work in tight spaces, or just want to save your wrists, a power ratchet is a huge time saver. It will not fully replace a manual ratchet or breaker bar, but it speeds up disassembly and assembly jobs and helps you get more done with less effort.

What is the real difference between a power ratchet and an impact wrench?

A power ratchet is built for speed and convenience in tight spaces. Think of it as a motorized version of a manual ratchet, great for quickly spinning fasteners on and off, especially where you do not have room to swing a hand tool.

An impact wrench delivers much higher torque using a hammering action and is made for breaking loose stuck or rusted bolts. If you need to bust loose tough hardware, reach for the impact wrench. If you want speed and access, grab the power ratchet.

How much torque do I actually need from a power ratchet?
